Description
The Justus Texas V wood stove, black steel / grey soapstone ceramic, delivers 6 kW and heats up to 88 m³ (approximately 35 m²).
What area can it heat?
It is sized for a volume of around 88 m³, which corresponds to about 35 m² in a typical home. Its nominal power is 6 kW. The actual heated area depends on the insulation of the dwelling and air circulation between rooms.
What is its efficiency?
The declared efficiency is 80%, meaning the proportion of the fuel’s energy actually converted into heat. A high efficiency directly results in lower log consumption for the same comfort level.
What should be planned for installation?
The flue outlet is 150 mm: the flue pipe and lining must match this diameter. The appliance weighs 100 kg, so two people are recommended for installation. Installation and connection must be carried out by a qualified professional, which is a condition of the manufacturer’s warranty and your home insurance.

Frequently asked questions
What area can it heat?
It is designed for a volume of around 88 m³, which is nearly 35 m² with a 2.5 m ceiling height. The result depends on the dwelling’s insulation and air circulation.
What fuel should be used?
This appliance operates with logs. Dry, quality fuel determines efficiency and limits soiling of the glass and flue pipe.
Is a professional required for installation?
Yes. Connection to the flue (150 mm outlet) must be done by a qualified installer: this is a condition of the manufacturer’s warranty and your insurance coverage.

- Nicolas A.
