Description
The Cheminée Amarant Wood Stove Black Steel Glass Top Plate K6240 from Fireplace delivers 6 kW and heats up to 90 m³ (approximately 36 m²).
What area can it heat?
It is sized for a volume of around 90 m³, which corresponds to about 36 m² in a typical home. Its nominal power is 6 kW. The actual heated area depends on the home's insulation and air circulation between rooms.
What is its efficiency?
The declared efficiency is 80%, meaning the proportion of the fuel's energy actually converted into heat. A high efficiency directly results in lower log consumption for the same comfort.
What should be planned for installation?
The flue outlet is 150 mm: the flue pipe and lining must match this diameter. The appliance weighs 25 kg, so two people should be planned for installation. Installation and connection must be carried out by a qualified professional, a condition of the manufacturer’s warranty and your home insurance.

It is designed for a volume of around 90 m³, or nearly 36 m² with a 2.5 m ceiling. The result depends on the home's insulation and air circulation.
What fuel should be used?
This appliance runs on logs. Dry, quality fuel determines efficiency and limits soot build-up on the glass and flue.
Is a professional needed for installation?
Yes. Connection to the flue (150 mm outlet) must be done by a qualified installer: this is a condition of the manufacturer’s warranty and your insurance coverage.
