Description
The Lotus Prestige Basic S Wood Stove Grey/ Indian Night, DIBT, Classic Handle, Rear or Top Flue/ Optional Handle Variants KS3867 delivers 5 kW.
What area can it heat?
Its 5 kW power is intended for main living rooms. Its nominal power is 5 kW. The actual heated area depends on the insulation of the home and air circulation between rooms.
What is its efficiency?
The declared efficiency is 80.5%, meaning the proportion of the fuel’s energy actually converted into heat. High efficiency directly results in lower log consumption for the same comfort.
What should be planned for installation?
The flue outlet is 150 mm: the flue pipe and lining must match this diameter. The unit weighs 147 kg, so two people are recommended for installation. Installation and connection must be carried out by a qualified professional, a condition of the manufacturer’s warranty and your home insurance.

Frequently asked questions
What power should I choose?
This unit delivers 5 kW. Generally, 1 kW is considered sufficient for 10 m² in a properly insulated home.
What fuel should I use?
This unit operates on logs. Dry, quality fuel determines efficiency and limits soot build-up on the glass and flue.
Do I need a professional to install it?
Yes. Connection to the flue (150 mm outlet) must be done by a qualified installer: this is a condition of the manufacturer’s warranty and your insurance coverage.
