Description
The Aquaflam 17 Flat Basic Water Fireplace Insert HSF23-074 delivers 17.5 kW and heats up to 420 m³ (approximately 168 m²).
What area can it heat?
It is sized for a volume of around 420 m³, which corresponds to about 168 m² in a typical home. Its nominal power is 17.5 kW. The actual heated area depends on the home's insulation and air circulation between rooms.
What is its efficiency?
The declared efficiency is 79%, meaning the proportion of the fuel's energy actually converted into heat. A high efficiency directly results in lower log consumption for the same comfort level.
What should be planned for installation?
The flue outlet is 120 mm: the flue and lining must match this diameter. The appliance weighs 141 kg; two people are recommended for installation. Installation and connection must be carried out by a qualified professional, which is a condition of the manufacturer’s warranty and your home insurance.

Frequently asked questions
What area can it heat?
It is designed for a volume of around 420 m³, or nearly 168 m² with a 2.5 m ceiling height. The result depends on the home's insulation and air circulation.
What fuel should be used?
This appliance operates with logs. Dry, quality fuel determines efficiency and limits soiling of the glass and flue.
